Current Pacific railroad station

Current Pacific railroad station. The Corozal passenger train station has worked from October 2001 to this day. The building was formerly the storage building for dry goods for the U.S. Army Commissary store in Corozal. It was built in the second half of 1953 as part of the development of the Corozal housing project for Panama Canal workers. The main building of the Commissary store also exists and host the pacific offices of Manzanillo International Terminal.
When the building worked as storage, the supply was also by railroad, and it already had tracks beside the building. These were renovated by the Panama Canal Railway Company when the passenger service started in 2001.
